weather was overcast but the rain held off luckily (the sk8 jam was postponed 3 times earlier in the summer.)
the pics of the younger groups i left off as don't wanna clog the site too much. took waay too many pics that day. here are some of the better ones.

heather (yep, a girl entry) rode pretty good, even doing no hand fakies and a nothing.

steve cushion carving the bowls

extreme culture ahd a stall there and donated prizes. i brought my 85 haro master up to display on their stall. many , many people came over to check it out.

baz won the overall that day.

ben rode well that day, espec with a tweaked back & shoulder

fat table over the hip from one of the chepstow/caldicot riders

paul divers loves barspins. truckdriver

180 toboggan

180 from the bank and into the bowl. he even tried a few 180 barspins but the harsh concrete slams got the better of him.

some guy entered on a brakeless mtb and he was well good.

steve cushion ripped and won trick of the day with a fence fufanu amongst other tricks

one of the locals entered with his foot in plaster , but wedged a shoe over it and rode. good too. 360 variations and whip tricks.

and flips.

steve green helped judge but had time to ride for a while.
hang 5 all around the bowls and into the street course bank

then more flip flyouts. 2 guys braved the concrete and shared a lid.

a lot harder to get good pics at a comp than shooting with someone to get good angle of a certain trick. you never know who is gonna do what and when.
plus the amount of riders buzzing all over the park at the same time made it even crazier. only got hit twice. good for me.

did the bulk uploader on photobucket so the pics arent as clear and crisp as they should be.

you can see what went down though which is the main thing.
