I just built my second Micro Mini (ONly 85 of these were made)

Radial Laced , shorter spokes reducing weight, 28 Hole Nisi Sew Up , clement Sew Up Tyres - slicks for them hot summer days , 28 hole gipemme special road hubs.

Drilled Maxy Cranks / Drilled Diacmompe brake - more weight saving

VDC made powerlite bars, Pro Neck Mini -

Micro Mini , only 89 made,

It would be cool to see one being raced, but I am afreid its just too rare, they only made 85 of these , and then sadly JMC closed its doors

Thats superb, Absolutely brilliant. How much does it weigh? The drilling of the crank arms and the brakes are so well done that it looks like they came from the factory like that.

I have a 39 chainwheel to put on and a narrow chain b4 the weigh in, Then i'll put her on the scales

Looks like that JMC's carrying a bit of weight mate. You could start driling through the frame with a black and decker. Stunning job mate, well done

Jon,

Out of interest what length spokes did you use for the radial lacing on the front hub?

It doesn't look like it, but did you radially lace the non-drive side rear, or has it got a flip flop hub?

Hi Paul, I have no idea what length the spokes were, I purchased them from someone to lace large flange campy hubs to normal 20" rims standard spoke pattern. It just so happend that they worked for these sew up rims , the rear ones I had to do a simple 2 cross pattern as the hub flange was slightly larger and therefor the spokes would not lace properly.

I'll try to find out,. Due to the way the sew up rims are configured,. I dont think they would have laced that way on a normal rim !
