mid school gt with some old school flair (my first build)
« on: September 16, 2008, 06:38 PM »
hello guys ,
just a little build i did in the last two weeks
this is how the story goes ,one night i was trawling fleabay when i came across a gt frame ,advertised oldschool
so i bought it at the price of £23 ,,,,,,,then after searching the net i came across this rad site ,and after many hours i realised what i
had bought was indeed a mid school 1995 gt freestyler team tour ,,i thought oh f,,, .. but then i thought what the hell it gives me something to do

so the stripping began (the misses loved it ) ,,,,,,then a visit to the local powder coaters ,,,aint the best job

then some more nights trawling the for sale section on here and ebay ,i gathered enough items to start the build
most the stuff is nos ,,,,or so im told lol
anyway heres some piccies ,,,,probally not to everyones taste ,,and im not sure if i should change the seat and tire coloures to black
but at the end of the day its got me back into bmx and i have a bike for the macmillan london ride on sunday

oh and i am aiming at replacing the frame with either a nice early loop tail ripper or if i can find one a curtis pro ,when the funds are back together

just as it arrived

thanks for looking  criticism  is welcomed ,,,but i shall hunt you down and beat you with a very big stick :LolLolLolLol:
