All the anlun 84's (gen 3 sports, masters and the first fst's that came out at the same time) were stampd on the bb. You may notice that the 8 is lightly stamped and sometimes un readable. Its the same on every one i have seen. In 85 of course they went back to the right rear dropout  :daumenhoch:

I have a Gen 3 1984 Sport and I have no serial number on the bottom bracket. In fact I can't find any serial number. It has been powder coated recently. Where abouts exactly is the serial number and would powder coating it fill it in?

My 84 Sport is still original paint and i can't read the serial number so if it's powdered you've got no chance
Why oh why do I still buy kids bikes!

HAHA just had a go and under a very very certain light with a hint of orange I can just read a few digits. I can see a 2 and a 4 I think but its bloody hard to see.
