Pics - Eastlands Manchester Track
« on: September 18, 2008, 06:19 PM »
Went down to Man City stadium store today.  Heard there was a track being built down there, think I heard it a bit late though as spotted massive start hill from down the road!  I take it this was built for Shanaze to practice on for the olympics.  Took some pics to share.  Pics don't give much justice to the height of the start hill.  My mother, who was with me, couldn't understand why there was a big jump so close to the end of the hill.....although ti be fair, last track she saw would have been 1987 time when it was standard to have just a speed bump after the start hill.  :LolLolLolLol:

Sorry for making it so you have to scroll across to see full pic...annoys me too...but photobucket kept freezing when I tried to reduce the size.

Is this track ever gonna get a regular start hill and be opened to the public does anyone know?
