It's a bloody good frame   :daumenhoch:

I'm saying late 90s, possibly mid 90s.

Is that an integrated headtube? If its not a bang in cup model it is much later that mid 90's. Could be late 2006 onwards.

i'm wreckoning 04/05ish, the ruben frame was one of the first of the big hitter companies to go internal headset on a freestyle frame. definately not before that though. more than likely a spanish bb if its an early ruben, mid if later

I'll stand corrected there.  That looks like a spanish/mid BB to me, so that brings us into the 00's I guess.

Surely Ruben was on Macneil around this time though?  I don't know the timeline.....

Don't know that the Reuben ever used a Mid BB dude? I think it went from US/Euro to Spanish? Gotta keep his friends @ FlyBikes happy ;)

If memory serves Reuben rode for Macneil around 2001.

ruben left macneil to start riding for T1 in november 03 also picking up a sponsor with fly components. early models were spanish bb with normal headset then later turning to internal, and more than likely now with mid bb as most frames now are

mid bb came after spanish dude hence later models more than likely mid bb, from my last post

I thought that T1 were sticking with the spanish BB, cos as Ian said, they wanna keep their fly mates happy.

Could be wrong tho. If it is just fly using spanish BBs now, then that cant have much time left on it.

my bad!

i can't confess to being a t1 nut, was just speculation on the bb as mid bb's are the most common these days! so assumed such a trendy company would be wanting to stay cool with the kids. must just be fly and t1's being rebels these days!

DK, Eastern, Failure, Macneil, Mirraco, Proper, Simple, Sputnic, Stolen, Superstar, T1 & Fly + some others all use spanish.

And UKbikeco.
