Chromo forks for a cruiser

Need advise please, I want some forks that are bomb proof and light as I appear to have bent my stock WTP unified forks




dk rt 24 look good value and light at 1.8lb but are they strong?

Spose if all else fails, S&M race forks are the ones but thought I would ask for some lerned advise as cruiser is new to me really

Blimey - speak to WTP (HotWheels), they will replace those under warranty.

With most cruiser forks being race forks, I don't think there's such a thing as a "bombproof" cruiser fork.  S&M used to make a 24" Pitch Fork which was a bit heavy but strong.  And I think the Odyssey 24" Classic Race fork was also good (but again, no longer made, I think).

As Bof says, the Supercross forks are good (but very skinny/light).  S&M XLT Race also good, but again, built for light weight.

I'd probably go with the S&M XLT Race if I was going for a cro-mo cruiser fork.

nothing out the ordinary happened Mike, was out with my son at Preston track, did the big double's a few times, no landings that caused distress to me so you would like to think the forks would be ok

you the man Russ    we'll see what the boys at Hotwheels say though, they are a good bunch and I sell their stuff so it should be ok, I was looking at other alternatives that I can rely on as trusting a replacement WTP fork may be difficult .

Worth sending back under warranty I reckon.

My nephew bent the forks on his Redline Proline Jr (no crashes or hard riding as he's a 7 year old novice) and they bent backwards at the steerer.  Redline said they would warranty them.  He's in the US not UK though.

johnny chopper in oz maybe? i've just got a 24" off him. 32mm legs 5mm custom drops (40mm rake) and much lighter than my pitches.

got some DK 24 R/T on it now, they are light as fook at 1.8lbs, sposed to be fairly robust too............................we'll see. They are nice looking things as they are tapered like my Fit blade lights on my park bike.
