OK - Want to get some endo action in....

Is it best to fit a front brake to practice them or is there some other way which will give good results, perhaps against the trusty curb?

Use a break dude....much more stylish.

Or go proper old school style and do them up against a curb.

If you remember they did used to call them a "Curb Endo" and a "No Curb Endo"

Good luck.

Mmmmm, Dave, it's not often me and you disagree dude, certainly when it comes to the use of a front brake. Endos, Nose Picks I agree with but not rack walks. They look much more fluid when you do they with out a brake, that's how I learned them originally because that's how Sir Bob did them so I just copied him. Granted, it's much harder to do them smooth without a brake but once you've mastered it they rock - excuse the pun  ;D

OK, as a long time front  brake user, here's my input:

-Nosepics always look better WITH a front brake. FACT!

-Rockwalks always look better (and should only be done) WITHOUT a front brake. FACT!
(remember NS kids, just cos you got a brake on, you dont HAVE to pull it!)

-Id say that although brakeless curb endos are rad, learning endos on the flat with a front brake is best. On a curb, there is always the chance that if you go to high the front wheel will roll back under you. Very nasty. Just pull the front brake, bend your legs to pull the back wheel up, and try to get your arse on the back tyre.

A rockWALK is a front wheel 180 to back wheel 180 - just check Dave Mc's reply with VIDEO. That's a rockwalk...

They're not that hard to learn and are a killer 'instant' trick that you can throw anywhere. Have a go! Rockwalks will always be cool!

Rock walks with brakes look fooking bad. I love front brake tricks but a front wheel 180 should be done brakeless.

And done going as fast as you can without falling off!!!!!  :LolLolLolLol:

The worst crash I had on the first Old Fools trip was trying a wrong/opposite way rockwalk (without using the brake).
I came a right cropper, Ive not tried one again.  :crazy2:
