Gyro Tab Drilling
« on: September 14, 2008, 08:52 AM »
My FIT S3 frame has no Gyro tab holes, I have ran it with no Gyro but i miss it to be honest so i was thinking of drilling and tapping the headtube to take the Tabs just wondering if anyone else has done this and how it went.

I've done it on a few frames, simple if you have the tools, remember "measure twice, drill once!" wtp have some nice tabs available, hth

use a bench drill if you can, i did it by hand, i kept skipping off.  3.5mm drill bit then a 4mm tap i think it is
if you do a search on bikeguide.org bike shop forum you can find instructions from some whining newschool bitch or ten..
even if they end up a little wonky you can sort it out  when you dial in the gyro!
