Dan Harris has already given me some advice with this but I thought i'd post on here also. I've got these arayas and didn't realise they had a coaster arm on them :( but got no choice but to use them on this ride coming up. So... how can you fix this on to the bike without a coaster brake and has anyone got any photos of this done?

Thanks,

Matt  :daumenhoch:

I had a hinged seat post clamp on my bike and had a piece of rubber hose of some sort between it and the frame. To get a perfect fit I tweaked the coaster arm a bit to make it all line up.

I made this one at work for something to do, not a brilliant picture though.

I remember using one of those long strips of metal with the holes in that used to come with car stereo's / electric aerials, looked a bit rough but worked well!
Do you grovel to your master? Do you beg like a dog?

matt, you could  always take the coaster arm off and the guts out of the hub and make it a freecoaster-so you dont have to fix a plate to the frame
