Tony, Gary Willats was in your group but they messed his entry up that day & put him up a year, most people would complain etc he just raced them & won!! Shows how hard your group was with Schofield, Maloney, Stock etc etc!
Gutted for Sam (or Daniel as he was known then) as he got a number 4 plate at the end of the season. That was the year of the world championships in Japan. Top 3 had all their expenses paid to go and he missed out by a couple of points I think to Louis Mears. Mum and Dad couldn't afford to go.
