If we race then we are together at the track, can we not tolerate each other on a chat board???

Old school race in the Old School BMX section is everything to do with BITD - bikes, action, news, interests, etc. This could also include an element of Old School racing today that is outside of Ratty's OSS series. i.e. it's a section a bit more for the collector, rather than just active racers.

The OSS bit in EVENTS is just for discussions regarding Ratty's series, nothing else. Quite a distinct difference.

We did this as the original race section (which was supposed to be Old School) was getting full of new school topics. Things like old school race builds and interests were quickly moving down the page and being lost. Also, when the OSS was combined with racing in general it became confusing for all which was which - so the new categories clarify it further.

So, in our opinion based on the usage stats, the new split should help not hinder people. If it doesn't we'll change it back.

Cheers
Dave
