Spokes
« on: September 06, 2008, 07:03 PM »
In the middle of tightening my spokes, all 36 of them. Not done this for years and it got me thinking of my wheels from back in the day!
Peregrine 48s? NO
Peregrine 96 or 98s.Does anyone still have these?Would love to see a photo of these, bloody pain to tighten all the spokes!

one of my mates bent the rim badly bitd and had to drill out a rim to relace back up. he was a big fella but was very good. seen him a few years back - 18 stone doing a handrail naked. not pretty. (he did set his beanie on fire too to do the rail but it fell off as he rode thru the skatepark. )
you had to be there.

got it on tape but dont think you guys want to see that one.  ;D

I had the Manly built 71's bitd, large flange GT hubs on Araya 7x (I think?) smashed the rims up & drilled out a set of Araya Aero's & relaced them :daumenhoch: think Ray900 still has them somewhere...
