And another GT.....
« on: September 06, 2008, 07:49 PM »

Put this one together for the charity ride, and because I was a bit bored.

1987 Pro Freestyle Tour f/f
Action Zone spinner bars
GT Power Series cranks
Tuffs
Dyno 'drain pipe' seat post
NOS Peregrine seat clamo
NOS ACS rotor and stem
NOS pink Comp STs
NOS pink Ame rounds
NOS Tech 77 levers
Shimano Deore XT pedals and rear caliper
Dia Compe 883 Nipon front caliper
GT saddle
NOS GT chainring
Tioga CD powerdisc
NOS Tioga beartrap headset
NOS DiaCompe cables
A generous smackerel of stickers, just like the old days.

I've owned this frame and forks from brand new so it's nice to see it back to looking how it should again.

Many thanks to SBD for powdering all the shiny black bits.

Are they mud machine stickers??
I spy some anarchic adjustment aswell.
Used to love the anarchic stickers, my old bike had a few.

I like it, very 1988.

I'm thinking about vision street wear and club home boy for a new build.

Yeah, Mud Machine stickers, spent way too much time in that place as a nipper. Funny you should mention Club Homeboy cause I found an old CH wristband while I was clearing out some old stuff from the lost last week. There's also a vintage Dave Slade 'Pink Pig Liberation Army' sticker on there too!

I love it. Is it the pink frame from the museum redone black or another one?

Yeah, it's the pink one, given a bit of a makeover.

very cool mate  :daumenhoch: like the wheel slices- nice touch .now it just needs some fake barbed wire on ;)

I was saving the barbed wire for my next build, 'The Nick Philip Tribute' model  ;)
