« on: September 05, 2008, 10:49 PM »
if the forks are era correct, ie; from, lets say 83, was there any different specs?
I know BITD I had a pair which were undrilled. Were these pro? Is there anything other than drilled and non drilled?
cheers, Ad  :daumenhoch:

Yes Ad, two versions in 82/83 from what I know, lists them in this advert....

One for the 24/26 inch and the others for the mini, standard and the Pro, both none drilled.....solid dropouts ;)

Sayin that if its late 83 with a slanted cut top tube they would have had square holes in the dropouts and drilled for front brake ;)

AD, just had a thought.......

The early 83 GT Pro Performer had the same forks as the race frame so would have needed a hole for the front brake :-[

I'm way behind on GT's - did the Pro Performer come out as early as '83, without a coaster bracket and with Pro Fork?
