how often do u ride

 i work double day shifts so i ride mon, wed, thurs, fri, sat & sun when on earlies (weather permitting) and when on lates just sat & sun ( which is frustrating) sats tend to be just seafront cruises but the rest are at the skatepark plus a seafront cruise depending on how busy i am

my riding buddy of 16 years is lucky to get one ride a week at the momment due to job issues and family commitments

my trials buddy rides just as much as me if not more due to my working hours and he's single

so how often do you get to ride?

what commitments stop u from riding as much as u would like and do ur wife/g/f mind u riding so much (mine has no choice/she knows the score )

well since i started workin normal ish hrs i try to get out most eves with my daughter we ride up the rec n i practis starts n sprints on my o/s race bike with odd bunny hop n manual endin with ass plant thrown in  
things that stop me doin more is cash n time with the kids

good to see most of u ride as often as poss, to the guys who dont ride often what stops u from having the time to ride, do u just not have enough time in the week to ride beacuse of work/family life?

Now I'm back in France I'll ride a couple of times a week, nothing crazy, just trying to maintain the low level tricks I can do. The main thing that stops me apart from northern French weather is aches and pains, falling off at 40 hurts more than it did at 16

I am just trying to get back what i had before i broke my leg, i'm getting there slowly but ive gotta keep myself in check cos i cant be doing that again

the days of me riding everyday ended a coupla years back.

(plus my girlfriend would rather i play with her than the bike. though i like to do both. )

Only ride at creation, its the only time i get due to heavy work commitment, unless i go for a ride with Luke my lad and he is 6, i take him to the bmx track but spend more time providing encouragement than anything, worth every pedal i dont turn though to see his face  when he has accomplished another part of the track and its a big track.

at least twice a week, i work from home so its niced to get out the house  and riding is a social thing too 

although my extension has just started so i was busy last week and didnt get out during the week, but then ended up drinking a few beers each night to help me chill out, got sick of doing that by the end of the week, so gona ride every evening this week

Hardly get to ride at all.

It's really peeing me off, cos I have only ridden a couple of times this year other than the 6 regionals I have done.

I haven't even been able to get out to any club races. So I've ridden my bikes about 8 times all in!!

I know I'd be way fitter and faster if I managed to get our a few times a week.

Might have to start trying to ride to work again.

just cruising about with the kids two or three times a week, proper riding at the trails etc about 5 times in the last year.  I didn't even bother going round MK track this year. Must get my backside in gear one of these days

I commute into work and ride my MTB from the car park to office every day, sometimes I take the  Nu-skool ripper or OS Haro race bike.

Try to ride the MTB a few nights a week, spend a bit longer at the weekend, managed a 20+ mile trek along the sea-wall and home on sunday. I would like to ride the BMX more but got no-one to ride with and dont wanna look like a tool on me own lol!
