New School at Bournemouth
« on: August 02, 2005, 11:10 PM »
I know it's an old school thing, and I'm big into that, but is anybody bringing they're new school race bikes along to have a race on them.
We could have an "Old Gits Go New Class".
Or not....lol

I should be bringing the 84 GT Cruiser, Torker and the 2004 Redline 20" and 2003 Redline 24"

It's great to ride the same track on the old n new school rides, you can really tell the difference!

Team Mongoose will hopefully be powdered (If they can get the right colour) and ready for the show too fingers crossed!! Gonna be a proper red rocket ;)

:D

I will probably bring a new school bike as well as my Robinson, but just for fun. Think if you actually want a competative race ona NS bike, there should be an "Open" class.

Good idea, it sounds like there will be a few new school rides floating around.

good idea to take your new skool so you dont have to worry about bashing it on those big jumps!

last year i did 2 classes, oldskool 20" and cruiser and with only five gates of riders by the time i had finished the cruiser my 20" race was on the gate!

so i had to sack the cruiser class, as i was gona have have a heart attack after 4 consecutive races and no break!

You might just have me to contend with on a new school ride if there's an Open class - that solves last place then!!  Humps
