Is there a new fangled freewheel that let you go backward without the pedals moving....? Like a coaster without the brake
* FreecoastersFreecoasters allow rolling backwards without pedaling backwards as one would need to do with a cassette or freewheel hub. The design of the freecoaster is based on coaster brake hubs with the brake pads removed allowing for backpedaling. Some companies also manufacture specific freecoaster hubs. Such hubs are very popular with street riders.
Yes billy, I had an ACS freecoaster, you had to undo two screws to disengage the freewheel. I take it this odysey jobie does a similar thing.just clicked thelink..... £139........ fook me. I remember when odysey first started, their gear was as cheap as chips and a Haro bike would set you back some serious $$$Now you can buy a haro bike for the same amount as an odysey hub....fooked up world
No its not a freecoaster,I had one of those back in the 80's. they were a freewheeland a coaster brake. the new ones are just freewheel.... I think
