Is this bike from Alans Old School site good value?

£230 in component form or £275 part assembled.
Spec list:-
• Aero Reflex Mid-80's 4130 frameset with standing platforms. Nice welding and quality overall finish - everyone who has bought one has been surprised by the quality of these. These are very similar in design to Mk 1 GT Performer.
• Black mag wheels.
• Panaracer freestyle 20x1.75 tyres - Black.
• Suntour-type 16T freewheel.
• Kusuki Win CW-type handlebars.
• A'ME Cam grips.
• Kusuki Win Proline stem.
• Elina UL seat & Snake Post combo (PLEASE NOTE this is differnet from the seat & post shown in teh picture!).
• Suntour seatclamp.
• Haro Fusion cro-mo 1pc crank.
• Odyssey Dynatron BB.
• Suguni spider.
• Chainring bolts.
• Sugino 44T chainring.
• Dia-Compe MX901 or 880 front and rear brakes with Tech-IV levers.
• Innertubes.
• Tange MX-2 headset.
• Haro Fusion pedals.
• KMC Chain (Black)

I would say no.  I built a (in my opinion) nicer Aero Reflex for half that sourcing the parts myself and had more fun doing it.

Up to you, but finding the deals and collecting the parts along the way is more fun that getting a complete bike (assembled or not) in one go, and you get some choice on what parts or colours to use.

Hi, If you need a bike quick fully built up then  Ok, but the fun of it all for many is sourcing the parts you want to make a great personal build. And it may come in alot cheaper than the one above.
Frame and forks £25 on ebay all the time

Put that little bit extra in and buY Dans Diamond back Viper in the for sale section. Well worth every penny IMHO,

yep, i have a NOS (new old school) reflex f&f still in it's box, black alloy hubbed tuffs (not crappy mags like those ones) with Lamello tyres and a black Nico headset all for £100.

i can email you pictures if you fancy it??

I have a fully built reflex for sale...flexible on price...in rare black. (okay i had it powdered satin black)
well, i say fully built it needs  a rear brake cable. and a lyback really.
