bloody terrified me as did the big one but followed the jedi instructor  :4_17_5: and did exactly what he said and did and fook me he was so right. I owe it all to Jedi. He is a great instructor. Really good at inspiring you and making it all simple. Man i am hooked now. Sore hand today as i slipped whilst carving on my last run though.

Big thanks to joe for the encouragement, support and for letting me come along. You just need to get rid of the monster telling you you cant do it. You looked smoother than me so you would pi$$ it. Remember. Use the force!!!

Cheers all again for a superb evening. Just need to keep the wife happy now so i can go again....... :daumenhoch:

Steve made it look p1ss easy.

hadn't ever ridden that bike before that night. just had more belief in what Jedi told him than me. I mean I try just about anything Jedi says
but steve just went for everything o questions asked.

I guess you have to get in the frame of mind "what's the worst that can happen?"

that's why next tuesday I'm having that big step up.  :daumenhoch:
as long as you get your front wheel over it won't be too painful will it?

I would say anyone who can turn a pedal on a bmx could do all the things we did on Tuesday if they have the confidence.
I sadly had mincey faggotty little balls when it came to the big step up.

Joe, Had a long conversation last night with a bloke that is trying to stop me from smoking and during the conversation we came to 'Risk' He basically said that from talking to me i am more risky as a person. We all have a certain 'Risk' level and mine is probably higher than yours thats all. I don't think about the future more in the now. I dont think its about confidence but about calculated risks. If it were all about confidence then you would have made the double no problem as you did the hard part which was as we all said on the night. You just need to slap your balls and make them bigger so you can do the big one and the double  :LolLolLolLol:

As i said before... Trust the 'Jedi' master. And if all else fails 'Use the force'  :LolLolLolLol:

don't use your hand as an excuse.

you should have seen the bruise I had on my thigh from corby the other week, it looked like someone had stuck a piece of black A4 paper on my thigh.

you won't get grazes that bad in a park, breaks are always possible though.  :daumenhoch:

come on bendy cat, you know you wanna. there's 3 places for novice night left.

as far as I know we've only had one actual fracture, Dwain Dibly.

JESUS - easy on the close ups!!!!

Yeah, I was thinking earlier it is all about calculated risk. I won't do anything until I have tried it on smaller stuff and feel confident. The small step up I've not done yet but have been working up to it and if all goes to plan hoping to do it on Tuesday (if I can get out of a works evening out)
