Yes its looonnnggg!!!! But i'm still dubious of going over those first two jumps in the first straight at full speed....Length haven't really considered too much, my thoughts are i'll probably come off on the first straight...then i can cruise around at my own leisure :LolLolLolLol:

Yeah, was up there for the first time a few wednesday's ago, and generally that was how i took it, extremely glad i've got a good working Bulldog back brake, cos if hit at full speed E.T. springs to mind, but not with a soft landing!!!

Doesn't strike me as a very forgiving track.

Yes its looonnnggg!!!!

It's no longer than peterborough, it bang on average at 355m. My lap times at p/boro were basically same as Herne bay.

You all just need to step up ya training

Training??? I've just checked my dictionary, can't find the meaning of that anywhere :LolLolLolLol:

Lucky if i get time to clean my bike between races. Let alone time to train. Nice thought though.

I will be there to defend my title, think it will be a bit harder this
year as only 5 at Bmouth last year be good to have semis.

We can make this event just as good as the Brits if the weather is nice and everyone in the region turns up :daumenhoch:

Hard to believe but Matt and I will be a no-show for this one as Matt has to be at Exeter Uni that day to take up his accommodation so I'll be driving him down with the usual student paraphanalia, bike, guitar, Playstation, drugs stash, condoms, etc..  Will be looking for some kind person to take James to the meeting but that can be sorted nearer the time.  Humps

PS:  Mike, I'm still going to try to sort out the "other thing" we talked about at the weekend

It's a shame Matt has to start Uni that day, Alan, as you guys helped start the club and this is the biggest event in its short history.

James is welcome to jump in with me Alan  :daumenhoch:
I see you stand like greyhounds in the slips,
Straining upon the start. The game's afoot:
Follow your spirit, and upon this charge
Cry 'God for Harry, England, and Saint George!'

Can't make it, on holiday yet again

I am toying with the idea of getting a newer cruiser for next year or tarting up the late 90s Floval I've got. Undecided. Has anyone thought any more about what to ride next year? Cruiser is tempting but if it's just me left in OS I stand a chance of winning something at least.

Steve, as long as the late 90s Floval takes v-brakes, it should be fine to race in 30-39 next year  :daumenhoch:

Do it!  You'll be racing against most of the guys you've been racing in OS, and your riding has improved loads since I first saw you race last year, so you'll improve even more on a decent bike.
