It's a shame about the result but she didn't go to come second. Shanaze had to go for it on the last burm. Hope her hand is OK. What the hell was the photgrapher doing on the mens finals!

Agree there will be a surge in the sport. I've been purely old school but I'm now going to follow the current riders. Hats off to them over the modern courses. Great skill. Even the wife got up this morning to watch.

I agree Steve, I knew she wanted the Gold or nowt, but it was a BIG risk...., I'm suprised she went for it there and the >> real shame as it would have been really interesting to see them both go all the way to the line...

so what would have happened if she had taken out the french girl n got to the line first would she  have been disqualified n had the glod taken or would it just have been part of racin ??

yep look like that too me and if she did take her out would she be worthy of a medal if other girl came off . i watch the semi`s and finals and few times now and read didn`t deserve to win and other girl was better , shame as read did try her heart out but sometimes it`s not to be . love wacthing it tho
