Old school brakes

Can anyone help. The breakes on my skyway street beat are crap!!!
There diacomp MX with repro tuff pads on tuff 2s.
They seam to be set up ok.
Is there any better breaks i can use or any other pads anyone has tryed?

Try some light sandpaper on the tuf pads to wear them down a bit, and re-check everything again. Should be ok?

Old school brakes were never that good! just we were all 5 stone lighter in the 80's

28 years and ive still not managed to find brakes that stop me, perhaps a coaster brake for ya skyways fella

As in a pedal back brake,  you can normally find em on the bay.

I have just put some on my Quad Freestyler!!

I tried to fit an ACS Freecoaster device to it but ot doesn't fit the New School Tuffs!!

I will test ride it tomorrow!!

Knowing my luck, I'm expecting to fly over the handlebars at some point!!

I'm not hitting the ramps with it!! 

Just for Back hops and practice some kick turns.

If I go over the bars once then I'm ditching it!!

Ive seen them on the bay too, but maybe i wont try one of those then!!!!!!!
I can remember the last time i hit concrete with head, not one of my best past times!
