10mm/14mm Fork Drop Outs ???
« on: August 21, 2008, 07:10 PM »
Hi,
Is there any reason why some people run 10mm forks while having 14mm drop outs on their frames. Or is it to do with the weight issues ??? I have also noticed that some complete pro builds have these sizes ;)

:) 14mm front axles are a bit weighty, plus unless you do a lot of front peg tricks & bend/snap axles then a 10mm is probably up to the job.
