i`m in this collections game for me and not for what it`s worth or can i make money as the bike`s i have are one`s i wanted as a kid or did have as there a lot more out there like that ,so what if it died tommorrow i be happy anyway as could finish my collection off .
stuff always drops this time of year anyway as monkey biscuits said .

Another point i have to make is that ebay is FULL of shill bidding. DX's in silver for over £300! Then the geezer goes and sells other average parts for astronomical dough. Makes you wonder.   Is this why prices look inflated too?

  Don`t think all your collections will ever be worthless! All the reasons given so far as to why good stuff isn`t selling seem valid.I do think that some of you start/join in certain trends albeit unintentionally,ie someone posts a pic of a PK/Master/whatever that looks a bit tasty and then others think,"Mmm,I`ll have a bash at one of those."then the prices seem to go up as demand suddenly increases.Just the way things are I suppose.

Yes those who bought NOS loopy rippers for 1k and used JMC's for more must be getting a bit worried but did they buy them for an investement or because they wanted to collect and keep. Anything collectable goes up and down in value just like the price of sprouts. Like the stock market its a gamble.
