If all things were equal, i.e. rarity factor didnt count, then the Skyway TA would be tops.

For Me, It Would Be A Top Spec GT Cruiser, Early 80's, From '81 to about '84

That'll do it. Gen1 with Tuffs. THE freestyle bike.  :)

im not a fan of them but the greatest bmx of all has to be the TA, it was the originally designed as a race bike and with absolutally nothing tweaked or changed in anyway it also became one of the most respected freestyle bikes that also got new life as a street rider bike in the midschool era when Dirt bro's continued to knock em out, no other frame n forks has come close or has been as widely appreciated and successful as a crossover frame than the TA.

no bias here as im sick of seeing the fookers, but credit where credits due :daumenhoch:

Gen 1 is awesome, THE freestyle bike.

but the TA is an allrounder isn't?

Race bike that with some tyres and a bolt on platform is just at home doing freestyle.

so the best BMX ever is probably the TA.

but I'm going to say MkII Super Tuff Burner.

I agree, I sold all of mine, but have to say the TA is the best all round BMX ever  :)

Won't be a problem.  The length of the thing might be though, they do seem a bit cramped these days.  My mate stuck some AD lugs on one and rode it in the 90s  (just like Jerry Galley), it was sweet, but twitchy...

TA for being an all rounder, timeless design, clean lines etc etc. With Tuff's on, it really is a design classic.

But then a loopy Ripper has the design too, beautiful build/craftsmanship and was years before the TA...

I'm gonna be brave here....Quads just don't cut it - an exercise in "what shall we do to make it different". Unique, but flawed design, IMHO

Don't shoot me :LolLolLolLol:

TA without a shadow of a doubt. :smitten:

Gen 1 is a stunning looking bike and also the first bike designed for freestyle so it is unique in its own way.

Early US made GT Performers are SO underated!!  GT designed its big chunky tubing on the rear stays and the bend in the down tube for freestyle, so they took it to the next level in my eyes. It always stood out in my local bike shop. Always wanted one. :4_17_5:

I only want to learn that sprocket grind thing that Vic Murphy did, so it should be okay.

down tube might get a few dings. lol.
