you hit the nail on the head, after months of getting the missus to allow me to build a budget racer, was getting worried...even though i have been starting to sow the seeds that if o/s goes regional, i may want to try cruiser or masters at club level?

was starting to think it was just gonna be me and Sonic!

I'll still be supporting OSS next year where poss, it's just to much fun to stay away

anybody updating to '09 rides this year, and selling their current ride, have now tried Wolfy's and Jazzyje's 24 inches and both put a nice smile on my face :4_17_5: would like to give it a go, but not the whole season, so looking for a very cheap ride, not particularly worried what it is as long as geometry feels right, so if your upgrading let me know, cheers, Neil.

Cheers Mike, saw that, looks loverly, but like my 20", not competitive, for fun  :LolLolLolLol:, so has to be on budget, and Mad-dogs, lovely as it is, comes well above my bar. But thanks for the info, Neil.

Don't know which age group is seen as faster/more competitive, but if it was seen that 30-39 was then i suppose you'd look at it like a 12yo racing in 16+ ???

Just aid for my DXR cranks and brake set.

Just need to buy a new set of rims and a Headset and the bike is pretty much finished, however that can wait a while as I actually need the bike here first.  :LolLolLolLol:

30-39 cruiser used to be known as elite cruiser a couple of years ago and is seen as the harder group, yes you can ride down from 40 plus, rumour has it that Bernie Schale may be staying in the group next year even though he is now forty. I think it was changed to 30-39 as numbers in that group had dropped and they believed it may have had something to do with the ELITE tag , could be an intresting year next year with you in the mix Phil (if you,re serious ) LOL

Bernie will rip the old school apart if he races in that class as well.
