SILVER STAR BMX
« on: January 12, 2006, 01:22 PM »
Does anybody know anything about 'SilverStar' BMX's? From the 80's apparently.

One of the ladies in my office has one in here garage, just wondered if it would be worth grabbing?

Cheers

Dave

Always worth checking out you never know what you might find or what bits it may have on.
You never know she may have got the name slightly wrong and it could be a Pro Star or Silver Fox or even a Hutch Pro Star ;D

Hi  ;)

I reckon it's always worth taking a look if it is no hassle and local.

There was a bike that was on the bay a month or so back (hey Dordy  ;))that is still pretty unheard of (good bike though) and it went very cheaply and was in great nick.

It had some top end parts on it aswell and was a real bargain and not many are around either.

go have a look, she may have some other interesting items hanging in the garage, like bodies or carrots or even dead badgers.

Right - got a bit more info...but still no pics...

- It's chrome (that narrow's it down, eh?!)

- Has 'SILVERSTAR' sitckers on it.

- Has another sticker 'BMX FACTORY TEAM AMMACO 1981 & 1982'

Ring any bells to anyone?

yeh - Ammaco made a Silverstar model - it had the goose style rear triangle (with the plates) and front gusset.

Cool if you can get it.
