unfortunately ive stripped 2 bolts in the stem, the bolts that tighten up the forks, i have always been too strong at tightening up bolts, then not been able too undo them, this time they gave up the ghost

my wife gilly said "awww, i liked it better before".      Grrrrrrr....

i think its a 'hope' seatclamp, the only one in gold alans had,as i dont think o/s ones fit....

you can see the SE stamp!  must be some reflection you can see as they are completely gone. i know what you mean about the cranks, but this i bike i use all the time and i am over 16 stone, so should be strong enough to take my sumo weight
