Got our first  Andover Summer Club Race , this  Thursday 31st July

                                              Round 2................7th August
                                              Round 3................14th August

Only £3.00 entry fee, should have the BBQ going ....  All the Nippers  will get Medals down to eighth place 

Registration from 6.00-6.40pm.... With Racing underway at 7.00pm ..

Should have the normal suspects turning up from Bournemouth , if it was anything like Bournemouths last club race it , it should be a Blast 

be good to see some Old schoolers , having a blast ...

BIG shout out to the ANDOVER BMX crew...WOO WOO !!

What a great time was had by all,

I turned up with my bike and camera intending to take a few shots and have a play

But ended up racing some how ....

I haven't raced a bmx since I was 11 so lining up on the gate for my first moto felt brilliant..

I happened to be in the over 16 which was a lovely complement to a 38 year old .

My results where last place , second to last , dnf... and a second to last ..

I'm well chuffed and reckon with a bit more practise I'll be able to finish them all in the future..

Any road what a great bunch of people and fantastic fun..

See you all again soon..

And the number 13 paper plate is staying put

Great Night thanks to all who turned up .. Riders from Burnham, Bournemouth , and all over.. Many first time racers, really doing well on 4X + MTBs, and Old schoolers like Dave "Fast" Lane mixing it up and having fun  .. Big thanks to all the Andover Crew for sorting Moto sheets, and BBQ etc ..

All the younger age groups get medals on the night , and we have got trophys for the Top three in each class at the end of the 3 rounds  .... Round Two is next Thursday 7th Aug, RoundThree is Thursday 14th Aug ...

So how many riders who won 16+ come on Al we want a full
race report, i have been ill all week with a real bad flu/cold
thing caught off the Mrs (thanks dear) even B/mouth Sun
is doubtfull at the mo if i feel like this, felt a bit better Wed
and did gates at B/mouth and have got worse every day
since gutted as off work this week.

Shame you missed it Kev...      4 Full Motos ....    6-9 ,     10- 15,   16+   20 "   and  16+  Cruiser/MTB
 
Paul Bennett, Baz, and quick new guy Max all had good Battles in 16+  20 "    Dave " Fast " Lane  was up amongst them till half way, and  then  his lungs, were suffering !  A bit of fitness training and he would be sorted, but then whos going to take the Photos  .....     Chris Mingo , was on it in the 16+ Crusiers  with MattFrench easing himself back  after his injuries ..
