Now THIS is a retro build
« on: July 22, 2008, 06:01 PM »
Bob Bohlman in the US has built a 2007 Retro Quad up and I think its THE nicest retro I have seen to date  :4_17_5:

If you want something for cruising around on and not out and out performance then something like this would be ideal

 :) DINGO :)

Not too keen on the odd tyres. Rest is very nice though.
One build a year, the only way to get it right. No rushing involved.

Are we all looking at the same bike, that sucks big time. Mark, all your builds are better than that, you could probably build a nicer looing bike in your sleep than that.  ;)

I think Bob Bohlman builds a really mean bike, but I am not 100% convinced about this one.  It definately has something about it, but not my favourite of his.

Of all the retro Quadangle builds I think that us Brits have built the best looking ones so far, Carcosmets, Scooterboys and mine are 3 of the best in the world.

Mine again (shameless picture opportunity)........

Yep, an interesting build...  OPC, Tuffs & skin wall rear, nice, but I still can't get into this retro stuff  :-\

everyones here is way nicer!

I dont "get" the build personally,
he has gone to the effort of OPC and crap small pedals to "keep it real" old school..

But then goes and puts really fat, odd tyres and a V-brake FFS! Saddle looks a bit gross too.

Stidds, cooch and carcosmet looking way more consistent, a better mix of old & new, both look great to ride.
