Anybody know what rise the Microline bars were? and also the bigger version?

Well I still have some for sale and they are 8.5 inches rise, I reckon thats as big as they get.

Microline V - smaller
Proline V = bigger

Not a great deal difference in height , it's all about width !  :shocked: :LolLolLolLol:

micros  - 23" x 8"
prolines- 26" x 9"

sizes are quoted from bmx buyers guide in the BMXaction magazine October 1982  :daumenhoch:

Are they? I thought they were only 8" rise? If they are Prolines, then I'm still intested... :daumenhoch:

The Prolines got wider over the years , I've got some 28 inches wide  ;)

And in a 1984 PL20 test they list them as 27 and a quarter inches .

Matt, does your 28" set have "redline" etched into them on the right hand side an inch or so under the crossbar?

pictures speak a thousand words  ;)

first are the micros. the etching is on the L/H side just under the crossbar.






second are the prolines, later to the micros as they have a different font etched an inch or so on the R/H side under the crossbar





and last are the 28" bars but i'm not sure that they are redline as there is no etching. these may well be "procraft".
