Sweet bike mate but I agree, lose the Joey Decon seatpost!

Potts mod on it and I'd stick a gyro on it too, who cares if it's not 'era correct'.

 boy. that is lovely.

I'd like to do my bare metal streatbeat like that. I bought grey skyway bars and  whitemags, but haven't got any further.

How do you get the frame painted like that. Do you do the whole frame white, then mask it and do the rest grey?
where did you get the stickers?
thats a lovely looking bike- well done

Cheers for the comments dudes.  :daumenhoch:

The seatpost stays  :coolsmiley: and i'll pot mod the front end once I get the bits together, but for now she sits in the corner of my office and we go to get coffee together.  :smitten: :daumenhoch: :daumenhoch:

Its original paint and stickers matey, but you could get it done like that. It is basically a white f/f masked off and then the grey stripes added. The decals cover the paint joints. Not sure if Del can do the decals, I have seen them on ebay US on a few occasions.

Nice streetbeat. :daumenhoch:

Sorry have to agree on the seatpost I had a similar one on an old GT it bent by the seatclamp when I was trying to front manual and it all went wrong. I just think side on the bikes don't look as good as a more standard layback. The streetbeats are pretty cramped up I have a layback on mine just not quite as far back.

Try riding the bike siting down and rocking from side to side my streatbeat flexes loads don't notice it at any other time.

gotta love a beat....but those seat posts are plain awful...and they put a huge amount of stress on the frame!  for that reason alone you should lose it......get a nice Renthal layback if you want a layback, cut an inch or so off and then bob's your uncle  :daumenhoch:
