Retro Haro's
« on: January 09, 2006, 06:39 PM »
I have a good friend at Haro in the U.S. & I was just talking to him about the next Retro re-issue ( I suggested a chrome Master?) & he said they were thinking of doing a 1995 Blammo. I imagine a few on here would'nt know that bike but it was pretty cool. Anyway, I just wondered what you guys would choose out of all the old Haro's?

I'd chose the sport in the original colours. I like the new one they've done (must do cause I've just bought one) but the original colours would have been tons better.

If there not going to do a twin top tube one then I wouldn`t bother, if they are then perhaps a bashguard  :coolsmiley:

hey DJ are you sure they said blammo???

Why would they make that?

Can I get job at Haro bikes, I dont know that much but it would appear neither do they lol

I reckon they should make the mastr with the black front, blue middle and chrome rear end, that way it would save me the hassle of trying to find one

It's gotta be a Gen 1. The Blammo is gay.  ;D

I just sent Haro Sales a message through their website (it seemed the only roughly applicable option) to say a twin top tube Master with tuffs is the only way to go as no one remembers the Blammo too fondly.  :angrysoapbox:

All I can find is this pic of one from the turn of the century (I think). If this is what they're going to do they may as well just put some repro stickers on a Mirra - or as he's left just rename the bike "Blammo".

How about they make a retro blue/chrome 86 sport with white tuffs? 8)

basically the blammo came before the 540...in fact the first mirra 540 frame was very....imean very similar to the blammo
