BMX Action Bike article.
« on: November 13, 2005, 10:25 AM »
This may or may not be a bit of a long shot but it's worth a try.

I just remembered that an issue of BMX Action Bike (but needless to say I can't remember which sodding one) reviewed a bike at my local, very small skatepark.

It was Corringham skatepark and I think that the bike was a Silverfox but I don't know for sure. One of the test riders (I think) was Greg Alderman, a local rider and there's a picture of him doing an endo on the whoops there.

Anyway if this ring any bells out there and anyone has a copy of said mag then i'd love to see the old skatepark again if you could scan a few pages in. The place was levelled shortly after but for a few years, was the only place to be for quite of few kids.

You've got me there. I'm don't think it was a Superfox test though, as I think that Corringham skatepark was levelled before that and replaced with a track that was stupidly small and crappy.

If you can send a scan in though Paul that would be great.

Guys I don't know what's going on but I can't see a thing. All I get is little white boxes with a red cross in the middle where a picture is supposed to be. What happening?

Mate, is your connection a bit slow?

You could try clicking each little red X with the right mouse button and then going to 'show picture'

That should work.

Hello mate,
Yeah, that was my brother that done the test of the silver fox up corringham skate park,(greg alderman). i might still have a copy of it in me dads loft. I will try and dig it out and scan a few photos for ya. Plus we have quite a few photos of the skate park before it was flattened so i will try and sort them out as well.
ok
