how hard can it be? anyone here built wheels?

or am I heading for a face full of dirt from wheel failure?

Building them is fairly easy, as long as you have the right length spokes. Leave everything well loose till all the spokes are in place.

Getting them tensioned and straight is a little harder, but not too bad. Take your time and dont over tighten/tighten them to fast.

Building wheels is easy, I have done loads of sets now.  Trueing them is a little trickier but even that isn't too taxing.
