Interesting response.....................Just like i said not everyones cup of cha but im new to the scene and dont know whats what ?now if it were a VW i would be a lot more clued up on era and parts but it aint.so come on give me some advice i know the tyres are very new not sure on what year the bars are or the seat stem and grips but thats about all i changed i just swapped the tuf neck chainwheel for a green one cause it was pink i know i need to trim my brake cable, i too was not a spoilt brat and rode a raleigh burner for the first few years (mid eighties) until this came up for sale for 25quid around 90-91so if money was no object what would i put on it ?.......... just to confirm this bike is NOT for sale it is to be used and is not a museum piece but if u are willing to donate the parts (for a small fee) i will happily assemble them for you Brent
not for sale? what at any price? I've seen people sugges tthey'd give you a grand for it. lol.I got some green haro tyres if you want green and old school.
Bof and I knew a lad who had a similar looking bike to that Holeshot BITDHe was called Mucus I did this bike to the exact spec as I had in December 1983I had MX1000's and VX 3 piece Shimano DX and my Mummy and Daddy didn't spoil me [/quote/]at least you had a daddy , no need to jibe at me, im just saying some kids could get what they wanted to , otherwise they would blart their eyes out and stamp their feet until said parents gave in
right this has just been sitting in my hall for past few months so im thinking about selling it f&f to someone who will really appreciate it. and to help fund my new kitchen.i know how rare this is so its gotta be a good offer
