JMC AP repair / restoration
« on: June 20, 2008, 01:26 AM »
I recently won a JMC AP from Ken Pliska - it wasnt it a good way, as the pics will show:

Ken sent the frame to Rod Miles, who waved his usual magic wand:

Next to Chip for a fresh powdercoat, and then over the pond to me to finsh her off.

I am really proud of the work both the guys did. It will take pride of place in my collection.

Anyone got any bars???

 ;D

Is Rod fully back online now,i know he went Awol for a while. Couple of U.S. pals of mine couldnt contact him and he had a few things of theirs in his care at the time...

Rod does unfortunately take a long time to turn things round. He also had some health issues for most of last year.

He's back, firing on all 4 again, by all accounts. Havent seen any of my stuff come back yet, but hoping to see some soon.

Yum Yum, it doesn't really need any more added to it, parts wise that is, it looks so good just sat there like that.

I'd be very proud of that.
One build a year, the only way to get it right. No rushing involved.

It does need a set of AP bars though. Needle / haystack time.

That is lovely. Top job.

Good luck with the bars! Someone did have some for sale on here not long ago...I suspect if you wave enough money, they will re-appear!

Thanks, but I cant really take the credit at all - its all Rod and Chip. All I did was apply decals - hardly reason for an accolade.
