yes you f***ing knob, because that's a London number. The code was 01. obviously now it's 0208 or 0207.

if you cast your mind back to when you were less of a retard you will remember the number for your home phone was 0789, where as now it'll be 01789.

I knew there would one mongoloid who pointed that out.

see the shiner number that's 0272, it might have become 01272, but at some point Brizzel numbers got totally changed so they had a 0117 code then a 7 figure number.

fook me Joe , have u had your calming pills today :LolLolLolLol:

and you can shut the f**k up.  :LolLolLolLol: :LolLolLolLol: :LolLolLolLol: :LolLolLolLol: :LolLolLolLol:

what happened to you on Sunday/ was looking forward to meeting you. (in a non gay dry bumming way I mean)

I'm impressed by the Aero's, i bought one off of Joe a few weeks back and have stuck it in the loft for my son for Christmas.

He's currently playing with a Falcon Pro cruiser but i know he will be gobsmacked when he see's this.
One build a year, the only way to get it right. No rushing involved.

Can anyone tell me the geometry of the AERO, have bought one off one of the JT's not collecting it till 28th at creation, if it has a short top tube thinking of building it for my son, like the idea of a AERO build off. Like to see one with all top Hutch parts inc Aerospeeds

I'm sure the f&f was going for £125 bitd, I've seen it advertsied in an old BMX Action mag...will try and dig out the ad and post it up.

Just found the ad in BMX Action Bike Feb85, Rad City (South Benfleet, Essex) were selling the frame and fork set for £125 (P&P was £2.50 ;D)

Just looking at the ad, a DP Firebird f&f for £69 , Skyway f&f for £145, Curtis f&f for £129, so the Reflex looks like it was up there in price

Bloody hell Rad City were also selling Dia Compe MX 1000 complete for £19.00

I'm pretty sure all that's left is a pile of reflex frame and forks in Shiners. that's it. There is no Aero.

but i could be wrong.

no your right just reflex F&F's

BITD Shiners brought nearly everything that Aero made and that included just over a 1000 reflex F&F's and obviously bmx died and so they were left
with 100's of them

Yep, supposed to ride real nice and at such a low cost, worthwhile building a cheap rider while you still can.

Perhaps we should re-ignite the idea of an AERO RELEX build-off (one was started a couple of years ago but never really went anywhere)?

What do you guys reckon?

Thats a great idea Dave,
I have a F&F still in it's box, haven't even taken it out, just bought it cos it was £28 posted from Joe !! I have a ton of spares to build it, but the Decals are totally wrong !

Does anyone do custom decals for it? (Silly question cos I know ya gonna say DEL???)

I may even get a custom set of 'Monkeybiscuits!' decals made, that'd be proper fuuuuuuuuny !!  ;D

Fook me, if only I could find a distro in this day and age who was prepared to take 50 frames never mind 1000!

one of the main problems with the Reflex though is if you build it with good bits and then sell it you will almost always get more for it broken than as a whole. Maybe we'll make them cool and desireable.

ahhh Rad City - Mecca for every Essex lad BITD - they sold everything - we would just go to stare at the shiny things we werent allowed...

Mate went to buy a new Hutch Pro Star and Brian of Rad City had sold the last in stock so he convinced him to buy a JMC Andy Patterson (no. 14 i think) instead - Touch as he still has it...

I made a nice profit on my Reflex, and didnt even use good parts.  I built this Reflex over xmas, my first OS build.  Cost me around £120 in NOS generic 'BMX' parts - including the frame (didnt include the Aeroyal when I sold it).  The most expensive (and best) part of the whole bike is the DC 901 brakes I paid £38 for.  I got £285 for it, after the buyer literally pestered me to sell it to him.

Its since been on ebay 2 or 3 times since for progressively lower prices.  I used that money to fund my Streetbeat and never looked back.

i saw them for 25 notes on ebay and thought hhhhmmm too cheap, if i honestly wasn't so stuborn on firebirds i
would have bought one brand new in the box, its a shame for the company they got lumbered with so much
stock when mountain bikes fcuked things up.

a mate of mine rode one in competitions bitd and it cost nearly 400quid in 87.

after reading this if you want one nows your chance, brand new old school for 25 that was 125 in the 80's :D

I seem to recall they also made a race frame using the same forks and also made bars as well but don't recall seeing a set, unless I'm mistaken which is always a possibility  :LolLolLolLol:.  Anyone remember the race frames and bars?
