flatland set up......ideas?

I'm setting up a flatland bike to mess about on but I'm wondering what parts I need, like short cranks, what wheels ,hub etc I think it's gonna have no brake coz I can't be arsed with a gyro, any ideas please?

yep jims up on his rollin    i use billys as they do sell cheap flatland parts 
32 spoke for weight but 36 will be fine  crank wise some 165s ultimate hardware or sherman are cheap if you get fed up with them
wont damage the pocket to bad.

if freecoaster maybe avoid the geisha if your a tad heavy on the cranks but for flat should be ok
maybe for a reliable hub oddy freecoaster  but any will do tbh

you could go for a nankai freecoaster for the reliability sake it weighs the same as the khe versions but isn't a sealed bearing type.

lot of people seem to run just a front brake these days. maybe swap the nankai hub shell for the profile made one if you want to save some weight. crank wise theres a few, profile, suelo, khe, st martin. flatlandfuel rule for parts, helpful and speedy delivery too.

thanks mate, how does it help keeping the weight down on your bike for flat?

keeping down the weight aids the speed at which the bike moves when you perform tricks...

heavier bike will move slower than a light bike

nankai internals with the profile shell is aparently about the best out there for reliability although i wouldnt think its worth doing unless you have a custom wheel build

by far the cheapest setup is .... get these wheels of chris and remove the cluch out of the rear hub, oh and lamellos are flatland tyres
