Everyone should be up for the Hartlepool National and even some of the Scottish Clan are coming down for this one.
It's going to be long distance for the South Region Riders but it'll be worth it.
Submit your Name, Plate #, Region and Weapon of OS Destruction!!!
Let's get some idea of how many might turn up!!
I'm going but I'm not riding. I'd only come last anyway!!
I'm going to video the event just in case theres no official Photographer. This needs to be memorialised for the history books!!!
The following details are taken from the Hartlepool National Thread in the BMX Race Section by steveN. (I hope you dont mind!!) The schedule for Hartlepool National is as follows:
Friday 27th June 2008 Gate Practice 6-9pm
Saturday 28th Official National practice times as per single national which finishes at 6pm
6pm-7pm Old school practice
7pm Old School racing until finished, either the racing or the riders
Sunday National practice times and racing as per single national schedule
Outside of these times NEBMX Club have no intention of closing the track. I will speak to Roger at BC to clarify the situation.
Mike don't forget you won't want too much practice, with a lap record of about 50seconds and 20+ jumps to deal with.
If anyone wants extra practice then don't forget our regional on Sunday 15th June.Gate practice is also on Saturday 14th June 2-5pm.

The Latest Information by Cush (BMX Talk)
After 20 years National BMX racing returns to the North East so here's the drill
The Address:-
Summerhill Visitor Centre
Summerhill Lane
Hartlepool
TS25 4LL
Tel (01429) 284584
Directions are available on the North East BMX website following this link
http://www.northeastbmx.co.uk/content/directions.htmThe site has excellent facilities being a visitor centre, showers, changing facilities, porcelain toilets that flush, baby changing room, drinks machine and contrary to popular belief running water (just to make you southerners feel at home). The track is about a 400 yard walk (not miles as some have stated Mr Restall) and if you have anyone with disabilities there are a limited number of mobility scooters available for loan from the centre.
The site will be open from around 3pm on Friday 27th June usual fees will apply as per National regulations £20 for camping for the weekend and £6 for parking, don't try and cheat pretending you are parking and then kip in your van as we will be watching you. When arriving we will be badgering you to buy some raffle tickets with the main prize being kindly donated by ALANS BMX in Wigan. The first prize is either a Supercross iS or an Avent Neo race frame, winner will be given details and can choose any size or even upgrade for a small fee details can be found at
http://alansbmx-racing.blogspot.com/ The club wants to say a BIG thank you to Alan for his generosity.
The timing of events is as described by BC guidelines with the following extras.
Friday 27th June gate practice from 6pm till 9pm (£1 for club members, £3 for non club members)
Saturday 28th June Old Skool racing - registration from 4.15pm til 5.45pm, practice from 6pm with racing starting at 6.30pm, entry fee is £7. This will be run as payback with 50% of the entry fees going into the pot, the more that enter the bigger the purse.
The club have put in a shed load of work to get to this point and hope that everyone will make the effort to support us as we do everyone else, Hartlepool is only about 4 1/2 hours from that London, (5 1/2 hours less than it took most of our club members to get to Burnham last year!!!!!!) and at a steady 56 mph 3 1/2 hours from the midlands so if we finsh about 4 pm on Sunday you'll be home in time to get a takeaway and watch the footy. There will be a grandstand for optimum viewing enjoyment of our 6 straights, free stuff from Red Bull and Monster, Potaloos within a hop an a jump of the the track, security each night, Ice Cream Van, One of the Best Mobile Catering Units I've tasted (Hot Beef Sarnies, Curry, Chips, Black Pudding and everything) and best of all Northern Hospitality.
See you all at the track.
