Hi, i have been offered a good deal on a pair of 6 spoke skyways for my mongoose decade. they are from usa.
Are there any hidden extras i will have to pay?
Import tax ?
Duty ?
can someone please help, i need these wheels and the price is good

just dont want to get stung by hidden costs.

Yes you may have to pay import duty if you get caught, its VAT on the value of the item above $50 I think $:-\$ + a handling charge of about £8 + another £8 for some other Bollox if I remember right.

It all depends, Iv had about 50-50 on paying for stuff, so you may be lucky

You can mark the value down (under $50) or mark it as a gift, might work

Iv tried all this stuff & still sometimes I get hit for import duty & sometimes I don't.

I think the best way is to mark it under $50, but then you may have a problem if it goes missing $:-\$
