One build a year, the only way to get it right. No rushing involved.

That's a great find. They do pop up from time to time, by that i think i've probably seen 5 or 6 so it's as rare a beast as is any old skool cruiser.

I look foward to seeing the finished product  :daumenhoch:

Heh Moley that's the same as me.

Me and my best mate ended up getting the Theta's for Christmas one year then pee'd off the parents by taking the decals off straight away ;D.

We couldn't afford a pot to pee in back then so a catalogue bike it was and to be honest it wasn't all bad once the parts had started to be swapped out and upgraded.

Same as mate, got my theta for Crimbo from a local bike shop, them were the dayz :smitten:

Cruiser looks like a good project, nice shape, not too low slung like modern ones :daumenhoch:

ingylevi, I really liked my Falcon Pro Theta!!!  :smitten:

It might have been a generic frame from some far eastern land!!

But lots of frames were!!!

Being my 1st BMX, I have a soft spot for it.

My parents bought me one for Christmas too.

Christmas day riding in the snow!!!

Brilliant!!!!!

Them were the days!!!!

Absolutely they were!!!

If someone has one, I'd buy it!!!!  :daumenhoch:

Nice find Southern Andy!!!

And it was the epsilon!!!!

I knew Dibly would know as he's a huge Falcon Pro fan!!

Enjoy!!!  :daumenhoch:

 :LolLolLolLol:

My thirteen year old son is using it to ride to school on, he won't be racing on it. He has a GT for that.

Also, he has worked his nuts off on this project mate and i mean bloody hard, he's well chuffed with the out come considering the state it was on.
Thanks for telling him it's a pile of shit though and shooting his hard work down in flames, good on yer sport.  :daumenhoch:

When we got it.............

Working on it.....

Sort of finished....

Just waiting on stickers and some valve caps for the wheels.  The rear brake cable has now been replaced since the last piccy was taken if anyone noticed it was on the wrong side of the frame. That one wasn't long enough.

We still have the original bits but we have replaced most parts with the bits from a Hutch i have.

Nice work, that looks like a great bike and some real hard work has gone into it; you son should be proud of his efforts.

It's all too easy to slag off a build with BMX snobbery but wgias what others think; if you like it fook em as it's only what you think that counts  :daumenhoch:.

What was your 1st bike?

As a kid, my Falcon Pro Theta handled pretty much everything I threw at it.

Some of the components didn't i.e. cranks etc, etc.  But I never had a problem with the frame and forks although the forks were replace by some tange ones when I got ranover and my forks got bent into the frame.

I think you will find most OS bikes would snap eventually.  Thats why they dont make em like they used to!!!

And the welds were better than on some bikes too.

Nice bike and a good build!!!:daumenhoch:

Cracking Job, post it in bike of the month for your son  :daumenhoch:

Real good story  :daumenhoch:

It already has been, this bike was completed back in July and i think was entered in either July or Augusts competition.

It was re-bumped as a thread as another Falcon Pro cruiser has been found by someone else and work is just about to start on it.
