GOLD SKYWAY HUBS??

has anyone painted there skyway hubs gold??
thought i may give it ago. what would the best paint be to use?
any pics of some already done??

I got some anodized Gold on this....

did you have to remove them? are they now bolted?

Yes you do have to remove them to Anodize them & yes they are bolted at the moment, but were working on getting new Rivets

theres a machine shop in south woodham ferrers reckons he can rerivet tuffs

made some campy lookalike centres and painted them with the little humbrol tins,used an airbrush,and 3 or 4 coats then laquer on top,rivets are standard ally turned down on ends,dome part is a headset cup machined down

loads of knock off graffites will turn up though when someone sorts out the rivit problem
