Agreed, nothing wrong at all, except the price Profile it has to be, and if their os cranks pre date by bike, then so be it, close enough I think...
In 1994 I bought a set of Profiles which were much moe rounded in shape, although still quite similar to today's ones, but they had no engraving at all, completely blank apart from a small '180' stamped on the back of each arm. What issue were they then?
i personally would rather stick some of them repopped profiles on than go to the time and trouble of fooking about with cranks from the us...pay em, ship em, rechrome em..etc...whoole load of fooking about when these profiles are the same as the original gen 2...i can see why people dont want twin pinch redlines as they are current model items..and you can clearly see that when they are on a bike..but the profiles look jus the same...( so you get the right look for the right price!)originals are best for purism, and there's now worng with that either, but budgets are budgets and if you can get the look you want for the price you want, then you should.happy days.
OK so we now know the history of the box cranks.When did Profile introduce the more rounded race cranks? I like the look of them but looking at the Profile site it just says they've been around for years.Anybody know?P.
