What`s the "next big thing " in BMX?

  We`ve had various headsets/bbs,pivotal seats,weird stems,cassette hubs/freecoasters on the rise over the last few years.Now what will manufacturers come up with or what other parts "need" a makeover?

  I could imagine that,we`re already halfway there-they`d look like 20"MTB trials bikes....Surprised that a freewheel instead of a front sprocket hasn`t been jumped on by BMX yet.

khe ar doing a seat and post combo, plus there is a plastic seat on the market, surly there is nothing left to do?

- Slotted forks & stems for perfect alignment and no slip (however I understand the potential risks with this if you fall).

- All in one plastic seat & post combo's (as others have said)

- Disc brakes on the hub centre & hydrolic gyro's

I think they were still a little stunned by the amound of brakes I had. One kid asked if Id been riding a long time, and then asked if my bike was an old one Id had for ages. I told him to shut up, and that it was brand new!

Ive found another stock question is:

"How long have you been riding?".

When I say 26 years you can almost see their face drop, in a "shouldnt you be better? you cant even backflip" kind of way.

It's so true but then I remember when the questions were;
1. Can you do an X-up?
2. Can you do a 360?
3. How much did your bike cost?

Should I be worried that my current answer to the last one is '3 times what my car cost'?
