Was a GOOD day as per you guys

Alfi got he's

first in a moto and came off in a run off for the A final

well done to all that went and come on you lot lets all turn up for the next one..

Not the largest turnout but we all had a great day regardless and the racing was as close as normal.

Alfie ROCKED today, that bike is way better for him

Only 6 O/S riders at Hersden today and 0 Cruisers

But it was clashing with a National , and one or two were away due to return next time

There was some discussion about next meeting, which Zippy has kindly agreed to sponsor (cyclelife , canterbury), we could be holding some fun races during the interval or after the finals.
The serious stuff (if there is such a thing at Hersden), pre reg will open around July 1st. Not only do we want to see plenty of O/S riders, we need the Cruiser boys and the Masters riders out on the track big time.

NO NATIONAL.... NO EXCUSES

great day yesterday.good feedback on the work we've done on the track which was nice.hope the bbq went down well(thanks elsie).was so difficult to pick a rider of the day yesterday, as so many riders are really getting good.the brooks twins are just so smooth and since getting up the bay,their jumping is awesome.also sam pile is now jumping the 2nd straight which is good to see as he's new to the scene and getting better and more confident.had to give rider of the day to sister lorna though as she really battled with the other girls and didnt just ride round and keep out the way like the first time.
good to see the mums having a go and sue farrahone will be one to watch as i know she's as fit as a fiddle and enjoys her riding.all that with a hangover as well.her entire family went home with a medal.bmx family of the year!!!
many thanks to steve body of eastkentbmx for the help with the gate, and sweeping of the track and writing out moto sheets with tony.and many other bits and bobs.top man.
felt strange not having humps and the boys there but my thoughts and prayers were with them and still are.
another great day and roll on the next one.
note too self.-----must put the battery on charge before race meeting.phoned up phil t and he just said"flat battery" and chucked me off the phone.haha.must of thought i was a right numpty.

Just to echo many thanks to Sharine, Nikki and steve for their help with the moto sheets, pain in the @rse not having a photocopier, but hope we didnt lose a lot of time. The weather was nice so no complaints anyway.

LOOKING FORWARD TO THE NEXT MEETING AT HERSDEN AS I WILL BE THERE.

I HAVE NOT FORGOTTEN MY LOCAL RACING ROOTS EVEN THOUGH IT MIGHT SEEM SO AS MANY HERSDEN MEETS ARE CLASHING WITH THE NATS THIS YEAR.

JUSTIN AND TONY ARE DOING A GREAT JOB FOR THIS LITTLE TRACK AND THE MANY NEW RIDERS WHO ARE STARTING OUT.

Just back form throwing myself down italian mountains on a full susser.... still smiling from that so ill have to get myself back on the bike again as ive been spinning me t**ts off for the last week. Fitness should be good though...
