of times and it wasnt his style then, it may have changed later though

BITD don't know if you remember that you had a gt pro performer that was painted in Hammerite paint and it was re-welded on the head tube IE: like a SLEEVE. i have still got that bike in my parents loft back in London . some day i will restore it. just wondering the history on it please let me know cheers

As for that hammerite performer, if it got rewelded it must have been one of the ones that snapped. I don't remember anything specific about it really...about two weeks ago I saw a pair of the Action Zone/ GT bars that had a GT style cross bar in that hammerite finish.

There is at least one pic of me airing a poxy quarterpipe on this website somewhere, I can't remember what thread but it must have been a couple of  years ago...
