new brake pads
« on: June 04, 2008, 09:57 AM »
just thought if anyone needs any new brake pads and wondering what are good, i just bought some new Demolition ones from Custom Riders.....they come in black, White and clear for really stickyness.  i bought some white ones for £4.99 i think and they grip like poop to a blanket!    highly recomend them if anyone needs new pads  :daumenhoch:

no squeeling issues but i've only had them a few days, so can't tell how well they wear yet........but at £5 a throw it's not too expensive to replace them

When I went to the Nissan jumps at Tate the other week there was a bike with a Hydraulic gyro, spoke to the rider and he said the only thing is it stiffens the headset up and need more effort for whips?

a hydrolic gyro?!?!  surely that can't be done??  sure it wasn't a mechanical disc brake?  although i'm guessing as you asked him you actually saw it up close and personal   :-\

Ive seen pics of cable operated disc brakes on bmx's with a gyro , but i cant see how a hydraulic one would work ?
