arrived today, really really pleased it.
pegs and headset included, a few minor marks on the paint, but hey, it's old.

the pic doesn;t do it justice, I'll get some proper pics at the weekend so you can see how eye burningly neon

the colours all wrong in the pic, remember those neon green towelling socks from the 80's. it's actually THAT colour.

maybe make a Mat Hoffman headfirst tribute bashsport..  to do that take a stock one, ride it into a wall, turn the bars sideways then gouge a hole into your thigh from it!
make it all clanky and loose too, and snap off a pedal at the spindle. perfect

Think I'll build it up just "nice"

the fact that it comes as a frameset means I've got free reign to build it as I want it really, don't have to comply with exact specs.

oh, I'm pretty sure now it's 1990 as the peg mounts are on the frame not on the drop outs.

I think 91..  1990 frames were just that awful airmaster? maybe.
then in 91 they went back to sport and ground master, got rid of the chainstay pegmounts in 92?  don't quote me, but that's what i remember..
and as laz said, in another thread, GT tyres all the way in the early 90s, the amberwall ones.   v-monsters would be too new..  i don't recall any blackwall freestyle tyres in 90/91 either...

the platinum one is  funny blue like some sort of old 70's ford might have been painted.

the green is wicked. but the platinum one might have to go to fund the green build.

seen a few on bmxmuseum, mine isn't going to have quite so much black, gonna be a mix of black and chrome.

mate in cov has one completely untouched since early 90s still sat in his folks garage !
